Privacy policy

This policy covers the website at stackriven.com. It explains what we collect when you use this site and what we do with it. It doesn't cover client websites we build, which have their own policies.

What we collect

When you send the contact form, we collect what you type into it: your name, email address, business name, website, what you need help with, and your message.

To stop spam, we also briefly use your internet address to limit how many messages can be sent in an hour. We don't store it with your message.

This site doesn't use advertising, tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

How we use it

• To reply to you and discuss the work you asked about.
• To keep a record of our conversation if you become a client.

We don't sell, rent or share your information for marketing.

Where it is kept

Messages are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, which also hosts this website, and are emailed to us through Resend. Both process the information only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it

If you don't become a client, we delete your message within two years. If you do, it becomes part of your client record for as long as we work together.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us at any time. Email hello@stackriven.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
